WV Sen. Weld

When legislation was introduced to ban greyhound racing in WV earlier this year Sen. Weld decided to go see a greyhound kennel for himself.  He went, he saw and he voted to continue greyhound racing in WV earlier this year.

However, there is a little more to this story.  Sen. Weld and his wife saw a dog they really liked and wondered if they should/could adopt her when her racing career is over.
