RT's BO JANGLES TO RETURN
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – RT’s Bo Jangles, a 2017 All-America first-team selection, returns to the racetrack for the first time in four months Wednesday at Derby Lane. The Cal Holland kennel standout sprinter has been sidelined with an injury since Sept. 22, when he finished sixth in a third-round qualifying race of the $50,000 Husker Magic Fall Sprint. RT’s Bo Jangles, who is entered in Race 6 at 2:47 p.m., ran three schooling races recently, including a box-to-wire seven-length victory in 31.43 seconds this past Thursday on the 550-yard course.
Trained by Holland for owner Randy Toler of Penrose, Colo., RT’s Bo Jangles has 88 wins from 145 starts and $70,531 in career purse earnings. He has three stakes championships: the $8,000 T.L. Weaver Memorial in 2018; and the $10,000 Thanksgiving and the $10,000 Howl-O-Ween, both in 2017.
RT’s Bo Jangles’ best clocking is 30.04 seconds, which came in the start before he was injured. He won a career-high eight consecutive races in 2017.
RT’s Bo Jangles was the 2017 national win leader, and captured both top-dog titles that year in the two Derby Lane meets.
